Angolan singer Ary was born on 10th August 1986 in Lubango Angola. Her real name is Ariovalda Eulália Gabriel. 

Ary is an Angolan singer , songwriter , dancer , choreographer and vocal arranger born and raised in Lubango , in the province of Huíla.

She rose to fame after being signed by Angolan producer and singer Heavy C. Angolan born Ary is a singer well known for her versatility, with a vast repertoire of hits and numerous times acclaimed for her vocal quality and unique performance on stage.

Ary is known for her flamboyant spontaneous and very energetic style. She is one of the most prominent female figures in the Angolan music hall and the most popular female artist, being greatly cherished and applauded by the public, who affectionately named her " Diva do Povo ". The singer and performer opts for Kizomba and Semba musical styles, although she has a great passion for R&B Soul.
