Biography
Chloe Foy (born Aug 1992) is a British singer-songwriter from Gloucestershire.
Her light distinct vocals and poetic lyrics create a very pure, melodious and enchanting sound, which can captivate any listener. She has a varied musical style with her influences consisting of artists such as Joni Mitchell, Turin Brakes and more recently Johnny Flynn and Bon Iver.
Foy started her musical journey at the early age of four when her Mother noticed she had a very natural musical ability and took the decision to enroll her at Gloucester Academy of Music where she was classically trained in Piano and Cello. Through the Academy, Foy managed to develop and expand her performing skills. She has played at several large venues with Orchestras, which include Birmingham Symphony Hall and Cheltenham Music Festival.
Soon afterwards, her strong interest in folk music began to grow and as she started to play the Guitar her songwriting ability also began to flourish.
Now fresh from winning the Live@GloucesterStudio Acoustic Competition and performing at a string of Festivals such as Big Bang and Barn on the Farm, Foy released her debut EP 'I've Got A Feeling' in 2011.
