Biography
Rwandan artist - Kitoko, real names Patrick Bibarwa, is a talented multi-genre musician, song writer and record producer.
Kitoko started singing at the age of 14 while he was still in school, but, in the year 2008, he composed and released his very first song.
The year 2010 saw Kitoko release his debut album Ifaranga. His first album enjoyed immediate and wide success in Rwanda, Burundi and among the Rwandan community in the diaspora.
Towards the end of 2011, Kitoko had become a household singer in Rwanda. He thrilled fans and music lovers in and outside Rwanda.
Throughout his music journey, Kitoko has performed and thrilled fans in the US, Belgium, UK, Uganda and Burundi.
After collaborating with artists in Uganda and Kenya including Lilian Mbabazi and Avril respectively, Kitoko told his fans, he would retire from music in 2013.
In late 2013, Kitoko took a break from music, travelled to UK, and later after acquiring legal documents allowing him to stay in Europe, he resumed his music career from where he had ended.
