Biography

Rwanda musician Tom Close was born on October 28 1986 in Masindi District, Uganda to Edward Karangwa and Faith Grace Dukuze. Tom Close is the second born of the three children.

Tom Close had his primary education in Uganda, before his family returned to Rwanda. In Rwanda, Tom Close enrolled at Kiziguro secondary school and then joined Lycée de Kigali, where he completed his secondary education.

Tom Close later enrolled at the National University of Rwanda, where he graduated with a degree in medicine. Tom Close is currently working at the Kacyiru based National Police hospital.

Rwandan artist Tom Close has collaborated with some of East Africa's finest musicians more so Ugandan artists. Tom Close has also worked with Zambia's General Ozzy and Roberto.
